Debs Nail Inspiration

Hey guys!

With my debs coming up in a few weeks I realised just how many options are out there for your nails. I'm getting extensions for mine and still haven't fully decided what I'd like done so I've compiled a few of my favourite looks that I've come across!

The shape of the nail you decide on is pretty important. I'm currently stuck between Ballerina and Stiletto. I would love a long nail but can't decide between this two shapes although I'm currently leaning towards ballerina!

My dress is pretty neutral so I am definitely going to stick with neutral nails with a hint of glitter!

I love these nails. I love a good matte set and this set would go with almost any dress!

Okay I'm not big on nail art so I wouldn't get the added detail but I love these nails! Reqemma on instagram gives me serious nail envy and I think this set is so cute and the glitter finish is gorgeous!

Aisling (DramaticMac) gives me serious nail envy and I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with a set just like these ones. I love a nude nail as much as the next girl but a pop of sparkle just makes them even better!

I came across this set on tumblr and they are adorable!  They look like cotton candy and who doesn't love food inspired things?  I think these nails are neutral enough to not clash with my dress and I think they're so cute.

I had to fit a pink set in somewhere......I don't have anything pink in my outfit yet so I'm leaning towards a pink set of nails as a possibility. Anyone that knows me knows I will have pink incorporated somewhere and I think nails are the perfect opportunity to do so. I found this set on instagram and I fell in love!

Do you guys have any suggestions for me?

Autumn Makeup Wishlist

Hey guys!

So autumn has to be my favourite season. I love getting to wear cosy jumpers and scarves as well as knee high socks before it gets to cold! It's also so much easier to wear a vampy lip which I love!

My autumn wishlist is full of products that are perfect for creating a darker, seasonal look.

ABH Modern Renaissance Palette

The Modern Renaissance palette is a must have! Consisting of warm tone (mainly matte) shadows, it is perfect for autumnal smokey eyes!

I have seen so many bloggers and vloggers use this palette and I just need to add it to my collection!

Modern Renaissance is available from Anastasia Beverly Hills for $42 + shipping, although it's currently out of stock.

MAC Copper Sparkle Pigment

Okay so this one is slightly cheating because I already own it but I love it! MAC's Copper Sparkle is the perfect pop of colour to any autumnal look. Think matte berry lip, matte black liner and black cut crease with copper sparkle on the lid. It sounds like the perfect combination and definitely something I'll be doing soon!

Copper Sparkle is available from Brown Thomas for €22.

E.L.F  Studio Baked Highlighter - Blush Gems

Autumn is the time for a warmer toned highlighter and I love e.l.f's baked highlighter in Blush Gems! Elf is a little hard to get in Ireland, what I always do is use parcel motel and get it delivered to Northern Ireland then onto Dublin through parcel motel which can get annoying but it works!

Blush Gems is available from ELF for roughly €5.20 + shipping.

Dose of Colors Berry Me

Dose of Colors' matte liquid lipsticks are gorgeous and I love this shade! It is perfect when you want the lips to be the focus of the look and you can pair it with winged liner for a gorgeous autumnal look!

Berry Me is available from BeautyBay for €16.90.

L'Oreal Miss Manga Punky Mascara

I love slightly clumpy lashes during the colder months and I cannot explain why, I just do. This mascara is perfect for achieving that look as it is buildable. I cannot wait to repurchase it soon!

Miss Manga Punky is available from Boots for €11.99.

What's on your autumn wishlist?

Face Mask Essentials

Hey guys!

I love a good face mask! I use them on a regular basis and have developed some firm favourites over the last while and I never go away without packing one.

Clay masks are a must for me but I also love the Lush collection of masks. If you don't use a face mask regularly (at least once a week), I would highly recommend you invest in a good one and start using it. Face masks do wonders for my skin and they always leave me feeling confident in my own skin!

Origins Active Charcoal Mask

I love this mask! The active charcoal is said to draw out pore cloggers, the white clay draws out pollutants and the mask leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

I apply this using a flat foundation brush that I no longer use for makeup and leave it on until it hardens (usually 10-15 minutes).

If you're looking for a good quality mask and are willing to invest in one, I'd definitely grab this one next time you're in Boots! I use this mask once a week.

Origins Active Charcoal Face Mask is available from Boots for €30.

Beauty Formulas Seaweed Clay Mask

I picked this mask up in a pharmacy in West Cork during the summer for €3.99 and honestly wasn't expecting much.

After using the mask for a few weeks I have fallen in love as my skin is visibly clearer and moisturised after using it. I also apply this using my old foundation brush and leave it on until it hardens.

Clay masks are some of my favourite and with the seaweed in this one, it is definitely cleansing.

Lush Angels On Bare Skin

Okay so  Lush classifies this as a cleanser but I like to believe it's a face mask. All you do with this cleanser is take a pinch in your hand, mix it with some water and apply it to your face.

I leave this on my face for a few minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. I use this once a week, usually on Sunday nights and it leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh for the week ahead!

Angels On Bare Skin is available from Lush stores nationwide for roughly €20.

What face masks do you love?
Have you tried my favourite ones?

Top 5 Autumn Lip Shades

Hey guys!

I love summer as much as anyone but there's something about sweater weather, knee high socks and dark, autumnal lips. I'm no stranger to a dark lip and will always have one in my bag during the colder months.

I own a fair few dark lipsticks but my these shades will always be my top picks!

(Swatches from T-B: Seduction, Perrie, Vamp. 293, Stone)

Collection Gothic Glam - Seduction

I bought all of Collections Gothic Glam lipsticks last year and Seduction is definitely my favourite shade by far. I would definitely recommend using a lip brush and lining your lips with the lipstick before going in for full coverage. If you don't do this, the colour will seep past your lip line!

Other than that, Seduction is one of my favourite lipsticks to wear during the colder months. It lasts most of the day and for €3.99 the quality is pretty good!

Collection Little Mix  - Perrie

Unfortunately this lipstick is no longer available as it was a limited edition and I had to wait ages to get my hands on it - it was always sold out!

Perrie's lipstick is a warm toned purple, perfect all year round but it looks fabulous with a thick knitted jumper and scarf.

Sleek - Vamp

Sleek's Vamp is the perfect lipstick for a matte, vampy lip. The formula glides on well provided you exfoliate your lips beforehand!

It's a deep red shade and looks absolutely gorgeous with winged eyeliner and an everyday makeup look.

Vamp is available from Boots for €6.99.

Inglot Lipstick - Shade 293

Okay so I am an absolute Inglot addict. I love their AMC foundation, lipsticks, lip liners and eyeshadow. Basically the whole store....

I got this lipstick almost two years ago now and it's nearly gone, I'll definitely be repurchasing it as soon as I run out! It's a deep purple shade and it glides on very well if you exfoliate beforehand. This long-lasting lipstick is perfect for the autumn and winter months and I will never get bored of the colour.

Shade 293 is available from Inglot store nationwide and online for €15.

MAC - Stone

MAC's Stone is a gorgeous neutral taupe matte lipstick. It took me a few months to get my hands on it as it was always sold out but I love it so much! The wait was definitely worth it!

Stone goes perfectly with a brown smokey eye and I cannot wait to use it over the next few months.

MAC's Stone is available from Brown Thomas for €20.

I have so many lipsticks that I absolutely love wearing during the autumn and winter months, the list is endless!

August Favourites

Hey guys!

With summer is officially over and school/college is starting back up again. Although I tried to have as many makeup free days in August as possible, when I did wear it, I found myself reaching for products I hadn't really used before.

I also started using my planner a lot more and some of the stickers I have bought are featured in this month's favourites.

Eyeshadow Favourites

These five shades have made up my staple eye look for August.

The top left shade is from a No7 eye trio I got at Christmas and I have really only begun to wear it now. It is the perfect transition colour and the pigmentation is pretty good.

Beside the No7 shade is a gorgeous BarryM Dazzle Dust in 39 (Tan). I have been using a few pigments this month and was surprised with the colour payoff of BarryM's Dazzle Dust. It lasts all day and barely creases! I will definitely be adding it to my travel case from now on.

Dazzle Dust 39 is available from Boots for €6.99

Below the BarryM Dazzle Dust is a gorgeous Fuschia Makeup eyeshadow. I have this eyeshadow, Nu Bronze, as part of the Dramatise palette but it can be bought separately. Fuschia's eyeshadows never disappoint and I love the bronze shade with specs of gold, it is the perfect shade for an autumn smokey eye.

Nu Bronze is available from Fuschia for €5.50

The bottom eyeshadow is from The Makeup Store. I bought their Microshadow in Diva the last time I was in London and it is the perfect maroon shade for blending into a brown smokey eye. There is a hint of shimmer in the shadow and it lasts all day without creasing!

Above and slightly to the left of the Makeup Store eyeshadow is a Makeup Revolution pigment. Unfotunately I haven't seen their pigments in stores recently and think they may have been discontinued. The pigment in the shade Etiquette is a cool tone brown with a hint of shimmer in it. Perfect for an outer corner blending shade.

Blush Favourites

The top blusher is Nars Multiple Orgasm multiuse stick. It can be used as a highlight, blush, lip colour or eyeshadow. I've been using it as highlight for the past few weeks and I love it! It catches the light and compliments my tan beautifully.

Nars Multiple Orgasm is available from Nars for €41.

The middle blusher is one that surprised me. I ordered it from ShopMissA a few months ago without having any expectations. It is Kleancolor's American Chick Baked Blusher in Spring Blossom. I had seen other bloggers' reviews of the blush and decided to try it out for myself, it only cost $1 after all. The pigmentation is fantastic and the blusher adds the perfect pop of colour to a simple, everyday makeup look.

Kleancolor's Baked Blush is available from ShopMissA for $1.

Who doesn't love rose gold? Nars' Orgasm collection have become a firm favourite this month. I've been using their infamous Orgasm blush as a blush and on my eyes this month and I have to say, it is beautiful. I will definitely be repurchasing this blush after I run out.

Nars Orgasm Blush is available from Nars for €30.

Planner Favourites

I ordered some planner stickers off Etsy this month and absolutely love these stickers from TheCoffeeMonsterzCo. The left page is full of exam and study stickers that will help me plan my study schedule. The instagram page is full of super cute pastel stickers that will keep me up to date with my instagram schedule! And finally, the pamper sesh page. How adorable is the face mask sticker!

You can get hand drawn stickers from TheCoffeeMonsterzCo here.

Okay so I'm not that addicted to Frapps that I need a whole page of stickers dedicated to the delicious treats but I couldn't help myself! Sponsored By Coffee have so many kits and cute individual pages and I will definitely be using these for coffee dates with my girls!

You can get your hands on Sponsored By Coffee stickers here

Planning Roses is the last store I loved this month. I've already used a couple of these stickers but I'm that addicted to coffee that I need to keep track of how many cups a day I have. Planning Roses is such a cute shop that sells kits and individual sheets for planners.

You can buy stickers from Planning Roses here.

There you have it! My August favourites.
