Collection - Limited Edition Mardi Gras Lip Balm

There were 3 'flavours' to choose from; Strawberry, Orange and Green Apple. After being indecisive for almost ten minutes, I went with  the green apple one - the scent was the most 'natural' out of the three and the packaging was eye-catching!  (These Lip balms are €2.50 or £1.99 available from Superdrug)

I couldn't wait to try out the lip balm because I'm looking for new ones at the moment since my eos balm ran out. Although the scent is wonderful and my lips feel smooth after using it, the lip balm itself is extremely soft and broke off the base. This disappointed me as it's hard to use but I do love how hydrating it is.

Although the packaging has been criticised as being cheap looking, I loved the vibrant colours. I still can't get over the lip balm breaking though, I can't use it anymore and am apprehensive to buy a new one in case the same happens again.

Have you tried anything from this range? What do you think?

Introducing Me...

So I guess this is where I introduce myself! My name is Ciara, I'm 16 and I live in the tiny Emerald Isle known as Ireland. I am a full-time student currently in second level education and a have a part-time job in a local supermarket. I've always had an undying love for fashion and beauty, by this I mean I spend a LOT of money on cosmetics and clothes.

Until recently I wasn't that bothered by writing my own blog as I didn't think anyone would be interested, but I started spending more time reading blogs and watching beauty tutorials and decided I wanted to join in on the fun. Well.... I'm completely new to this and it's kinda scary but I've decided to put myself out there, write my opinions on certain things, beauty tips and tricks and a whole load of other things that interest me!

So if anyone is actually reading this (For starters, thank you!), I'll try make my blog as interesting as I can!

Ciara :)
