The Vamps World Tour

If you follow me on social media, you'll know that I couldn't post on Wednesday because I was sick during the week and I went to see the Vamps on Wednesday night! The Vamps are a English band that started out on YouTube (I came across them when my sister showed me their cover of Taylor Swift's 22 a little over two years ago). Their debut album 'Meet The Vamps' came out last year and the world tour started in January this year!

So my sister and I met up with my friends Niamh and Ellen before the concert and ended up standing in the third row!

The Tide and Union J were the support acts. The Tide are an American band that The Vamps signed to their record label earlier this year. I really liked their songs and they had a great stage presence !

Union J were on the X Factor a few years ago and have released two albums since then. I'm still heartbroken over Louis choosing Union J over District 3 but their songs are good !

The Vamps were so good ! I was on the right side of the stage so Connor was there most of the time, Brad and James came over to the right occasionally. The setlist was so good! 'Girls on TV' was definitely my favourite song.

#OnStageWithTheVamps is such a cool thing to have on tour! Every night they bring someone up on stage and they get to meet the Vamps on stage and ask them a question. I would've loved to have gone up but I was happy for the girl that got to go up!

I also loved the mashup they had towards the start of the set because they sang some of 'Shake It Off' because Taylor is fab and they killed it!

Fun fact: The Vamps supported Taylor in her sold-out London shows last year as part of the Red Tour.

Their setlist was:

1. Wild Heart.
2. Hurricane.
3. Somebody To You.
4. Uptown Funk/ Seven Nation Army/ Shake It Off/ We Can't Stop Mashup.
5. Last Night.
6. Move My Way.
7. In Too Deep (Sum 41 Cover).
8. Another World.
9. Lovestruck.
10. Girls On TV.
11. Oh Cecilia.
12. Risk It All.
13. Can We Dance.

I totally think Connor should make it his picture on Twitter !

The concert was so good and now I really want to see them in the Marquee in Cork during the summer !

It's safe to say the post-concert depression has set in.....

SophieLouTallant  posted some amazing videos of the concert on YouTube. go check them out!
Have you been to see the Vamps?
What was your favourite song?

Emma's So Naturals Review

I love supporting Irish brands - Emma's So Naturals Eco-Soy Candles are just one of the amazing brands out there!

Emma was kind enough to send me one of her Lemongrass Tin Candles - a bestseller.
After opening the candle and literally just smelling it for a few minutes, I can see why it is a bestseller! It smells absolutely divine!

If you don't know what lemongrass smells like, this candle smells like sherbet lemons (Yes, the sweets you ate as a kid!). What I loved about the candle was it made the room smell refreshing and you noticed it as soon as you walked in, without it being overpowering!

The burn time for the tin candles is approximately 20 hours.

Another great thing about the brand in general is that the candles are made with pure, renewable  100% natural soybean oil.

This means each candle is all natural, long-lasting and clean burning, There are no paraffins in the candles, no artificial dyes and no synthetic fragrances!

When the candle is finished, there won't be any residue left over, that means you can wash the tin (or tumbler) out and re-use the container for holding keys, jewellery, etc...

Emma's candles come in tumblers (€18.50), tin holders (€9.95), wax tart melts (€4.95) and the tea cup candles (€21.00 - Neroli Fusion only).

The Eco-Soy candles are currently available in seven different fragrances : Lemongrass, Lavender, Citrus Blend, Orange & Palmarosa Blend, Harmony Blend, Neroli Fusion and Masala Chai.

Emma gave me a discount code as well, by using the code 'SUPERFAN10' for an order over €20, you'll get 10% off emmas.ie

Thanks so much to Emma for sending me the lemongrass candle - I'm hooked!
Have you ever tried Emma's candles?
What was your favourite one?

My Favourite Leo DiCaprio Titanic Gifs!

Today marks the 103rd anniversary since the Titanic sank in 1912.
I was obsessed with the Titanic when I was younger. I don't know whether it was because I my links with Cobh and Cobh's link with the Titanic (It was the last port of call for the ship) but I loved reading books about it. To commemorate this fantastic ship, this post will be all about my favourite Leo gifs from the movie!

Who wouldn't love to have Leo wrap his arms around them? The ' I'm flying ' scene has to be one of my favourite in the whole movie!

I love this - his facial expressions are just gold!

He's so cute!

I love him.

Can he be my chauffeur please?

That smirk...

He's too cute to steal.

He looks oddly like Harry Styles in this gif...

'Paint me like one of your French girls.'

HE DIDN'T LET GO ROSE, WHY DID YOU?

Okay so I love Leo DiCaprio, who doesn't?
What's your favourite gif from Titanic?

My Favourite Drugstore Dupes!

I have been obsessing over dupes for high-end makeup brands. I love high-end products but unfortunately my bank account doesn't seem to agree with my taste!

The majority of the dupes are available in Ireland and if they are not, they are definitely available online and I will leave the links below the products!

4. Mac x Kelly Osbourne Dodgy Girl Lipstick : Nyx High Voltage Lipstick  in Playdate

Mac's lipstick is not too expensive but if there's a cheaper option with great quality I'm all for it! Dodgy Girl was part of a limited edition collection and this lipstick literally flew out the door before I could get my hands on it. The lipstick was between €19.50 and €21.50. I came across Nyx in a pharmacy at Christmas and Playdate is a very close dupe to Dodgy Girl. It is slightly darker than Dodgy Girl but for only €7.49 in Shaws (Limerick) it is as good as a dupe gets!

3. Mac Satin Taupe : Nyx Iced Mocha
Mac's Satin Taupe is a shimmery brown perfect for smokey eyes. Retailing for €16.50, it will set you back a but but Nyx's Iced Mocha, a perfect dupe for this shade is available in Shaws (Limerick) and selected pharmacies nationwide. Nyx is such a high quality brand and is only a fraction of the price of Mac!

2. The Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer : Coastal Scents Flesh Tone
                            Via @jillianbeauty on Instagram
Mary-Lou Manizer is a highlighter that is taking the blogging and YouTube world by storm! This highlighter is so pigmented and the shimmer adds a subtle glow to your face. At €20.50 from Cloud 10 Beauty this highlighter may leave you wanting more. Coastal Scents Flesh Tone, a single pan eyeshadow retails at only €1.85. Flesh Tone matches Mary-Lou Manizer is quality and colour, the price is what stole my heart!

1. Benefit They're Real : W7 Absolute Lashes
They're Real is one of my favourite mascaras, the length and volume you get from this mascara is amazing! I was so excited when I heard that W7 had a dupe because €26 for a mascara is pricey. Absolute provides the same amount of length and volume. W7 are known for their dupes and this one comes in at €5 - a steal! W7 is available from Sam McCauley pharmacies nationwide.

What are your favourite dupes?

Tan Organic Review

A few weeks ago, the lovely people at Tan Organic sent me a little package full of goodies! They sent me a bottle of their self tanning oil (€24.99), their tan erase exfoliator (€14.99) and a lovely box of scrummy chocolates!

I had heard great things about the tan and could not wait to gets my hands on it. Tan Organic is a 100% Irish-Owned. Every ingredient is 100% natural and the formula contains certified organic ingredients. There are no chemical dyes or artificial colours in this tan at all!

I exfoliated using the tan erase mitt beforehand as I always find the tan comes up more evenly if you exfoliate beforehand! As the name states, it is an oil. I did not want to use a mitt when applying this as I felt it would just absorb straight in. Application itself was easy enough although the lack of colour made it difficult to know if everywhere was evenly covered.

The brand claim that there is no smell to the tan as well. When applying the tan there was a lovely citrus smell that I liked, especially because it did not have the distinct fake tan smell that I hate. A few hours after application, there was no smell but throughout the day the normal fake tan smell developed. Unfortunately, this one was far worse and I had to listen to my sister complaining about how I smelled for the remainder of the day.

Overall, Tan Organic is a fabulous fake tan, The formula is completely organic and not harmful to your skin at all which I love. I used one coat and it gave me a natural tanned look, unlike other fake tans that make you look orange.

Tan Organic is available from all good pharmacies nationwide.

Thank you to Tan Organic for sending me out some of their products to review!

Have you tried Tan Organic before?
What did you think of it?

Pretty in Pink

Pink is my world. I love pink, Pink makeup, pink clothes, pink stationary, pink food, pink everything!

Loving pink definitely has an influence on my makeup collection. I could show you everything but it would take days! Instead I have picked my top six pink makeup and beauty products!

6. One Direction's Our Moment
Our Moment was One Direction's first fragrance and I love it. This fragrance is full of fresh fruit and flowers infused with undertones of warm musk. For a celebrity fragrance, it is quite nice and the bottle is pink, what's not to like?

Our Moment is available in Boots for €20.

5. Seventeen Lip Crayon
I love lip crayons, they glide on so easily and last for a few hours. I bought this lip crayon in a set at Christmas time and unfortunately Seventeen has not added any number or name for the shades. What I love about this shade is that it is a buildable colour - you can go for a light pink lip or build it up to a deep colour,

4. No7 Nail Varnish - MeMeMe
Nail Varnish completes a look. If you take a peek at my nail varnish collection, you'll see it is predominantly pink. You may find one or two different colours but for every different colour, you'll find twenty different shades of pink. I adore this hot pink shade from No7's collection - it is perfect for the summer months!

MeMeMe is available from Boots for €8.

3. EOS Lip Balm - Strawberry Sorbet
I have a lip balm obsession. If I'm not using Carmex, I have some EOS handy. As it is American, it is quite expensive over here. I got mine as presents from people coming home from America so I did not have to pay for mine but they are well worth the €6.95! Strawberry Sorbet is my favourite, it smells divine!

EOS Lip Balm is available from Cloud10Beauty for €6.95.

2. Bleach London Super Cool Colours - Rosé
Dyeing your hair can be daunting. That is why I love Bleach London's temporary hair colours. You can't dye your hair during the school year in my school so I have to wait until summer to use this beauty. I plan on toning the ends of my hair beforehand so I can get a pastel colour.

Rosé is available from Boots for €6.69.

1.MAC Sheertone Blush - Pink Swoon
Pink Swoon is a dramatic colour. If you are going for a brighter shade for your cheeks, make that the focus for your look. When I wear Pink Swoon, I ditch the winged eyeliner and just stick with mascara. This shade is perfect with a nude, glossy lip as well!

Mac Blushers are available from Brown Thomas.

There you have it! My favorite pink makeup and beauty products!

The Tulle Skirt.

I am completely obsessed with tulle skirts at the moment. They are so pretty and it makes you look like a princess - what girl doesn't want to look like a princess?

Wearing a tulle skirt can be daunting as if you don't style it right, you can end up looking like a child.
Pairing it with a clutch and some sunglasses make this look a timeless classic.

Here are some of my favourite looks you can create with tulle skirts!

Pairing a tulle skirt with a crop top or a loose tank is the perfect daytime look. It is a light and airy outfit perfect for summer days.

Channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw and add a leather jacket to make this look edgy and sweet.
Pairing a tulle skirt with a long-sleeved top will make any look more sophisticated and classy.

Wearing a fitted top with a tulle skirt is perfect for a night out.

A tulle skirt is definitely a wardrobe investment but one worth making!
Here are my favourite tulle skirts from the high street and on the web.

The Flawless Fox Boutique have tulle skirts available in five colours: Green, Pink, White, Apricot and Black.
This skirt costs €51.20/$55

Cari's Closet has a range of tulle skirts available on their site for €69.

Welcome to Royalty is a store on etsy and their skirts are to die for! They are literally the perfect tulle skirt!
Welcome to Royalty's skirts cost €44.70/$48.

I am so in love with tulle skirts and cannot wait to have one for summer!
How would you style a tulle skirt?
