My 2017 Planner

Hey guys!

My Saturday post is a tiny bit late because I was absolutely wrecked this week and didn't have the energy to sit down and write a post.

I love being organised and always *try to have my life together. I have finally caught onto the planner craze when I saw how easy it was to have everything planned out in planners like Recollections and Erin Condren.

I ordered a Recollections Planner from Michaels before Christmas and was so excited when my mum came home with it while she was visiting the States. Since January I've been using a combination of printables and kits sent to me by some fab shops on Etsy!

      January Monthly Kit

I got this floral themed January kit from Jax and Pepper  on Etsy and Lena was kind enough to send me the kit to try out. I loved the colour theme and although Lena makes her kits to fit Erin Condren planners, I found it fit rather well in my Recollections planner.

The kit came with three sheets of stickers, all of which I have not used, and is on lovely matte paper that is easy to write on. I loved this monthly kit and will definitely be using more kits from Jax and Pepper throughout the year!

Check out the full Etsy shop for all of the stickers available from Jax and Pepper!

February Monthly Kit

I bought my February kit from PaperCrownPlanner on Etsy for €1.50 during a sale in January but her printable kits are lovely and you can buy them for less than €4 which is great.

I love this kit because it's pink for Valentines but there were also a few blank boxes that I wrote quotes on which add some personalisation to the spread which is always a bonus!

Silvia sells a fab range of printable stickers for planners and the majority, if not all, of her kits are less than €5.

Check out PaperCrownPlanner's full shop over on Etsy!

February Week 1

I'm new to planning and still don't have a set way to do my weekly spread but I think my first week of February looks pretty good.

This kit was a printable freebie from PlannerAddiction.com ! The site has a whole range of freebies ranging from monthly kits to cute kawaii sticker sheets.

I use Q Connect A4 Sticker Paper to  print my planner kits and I bought 100 sheets including delivery to Ireland for something like €8 which is pretty good if you think about how much                                                           a weekly or monthly kit costs on Etsy!

February Week 2

Lena, the owner of Jax and Pepper, was also kind enough to send me a weekly kit to try out and although I haven't written anything in for the week coming yet, I love the look of the kit!

I love marble everything and this kit is gorgeous! The marble and peach weekly kit comes with four full sheets (I haven't used all of them here) and are made for vertical planners but I love the layout in my horizontal one and think it fits very nicely into the Recollections planner!

Check out all of the weekly kits over on Etsy!

Do you guys have a planner?
What kits do you use?
Do you have any suggestions for my layout?

October Favourites

Hey guys!

I can't believe I'm doing my October favourites right now, the month just flew by! November is such a busy month for me with Christmas launches, my birthday, exam prep and my trip to London!

I got so many fabulous press gifts over the past few weeks that I absolutely love and have featured some in this month's favourites.

Shadow Switch

I absolutely love this product. The fabulous team over at Beauty Essentials sent me this at the start of the month and I have been using it almost daily! If you're switching up your shadow colours for a smokey eye or just something dramatic, all you have to do is rub your brush over a few times and it's clean!

Shadow Switch retails for £5.99 and will be launching in Sephora soon!

Begutea Morning Buzz

Begu were kind enough to send me a selection of their teas a few weeks ago and I absolutely love Morning Buzz! I usually have this with my breakfast each morning because it is packed full of antioxidants and has an added caffeine kick that's better for you than coffee! It's also a great tea to start any detox with as it doesn't have any nasty side effects!

Begu's Morning Buzz is available on their site for roughly €16.65.

Vegas Nay's Eylure Collection

Guys I am obsessed with these lashes. The collection has dramatic lashes as well as lashes you can wear daily which I love. Easy Elegance (Red packaging) has to be my favourite pair as I can easily wear them casually and on a night out!

Vegas Nay's collection is available from Eylure and prices range from €6.60 to €8.80

Magnitone Lucid Cleansing Brush

I reviewed Magnitone's Lucid Brush last year and have been using it ever since. I'm fairly sure they have rebranded it as the Barefaced Cleansing Brush since then but the model looks the same.
I use the brush almost daily with a cleanser and I love how soft it leaves my skin. It's also great for clearing your skin if you're having a bad week.

Magnitone Cleansing Brushes are available from Boots and are currently on offer for €90.

Scribble Prints Co. Ballerina Planner Kit

I can't remember which weekly kit this was from Scribble Prints but I am obsessed with the rose gold ballerina theme. Scribble Prints Co. have so many amazing kits and mini kits that will suit every budget and I have been loving the planner mail I've been getting from them recently!

Weekly kits are €23.15 from the Etsy Shop but their are other kits available as well.

Inglot Lipstick - Shade 293

Y'all know I am obsessed with berry and dark lips shades during the colder months and Inglot's lipstick in sahde 293 is a staple in my collection. I end up buying a new one every year I wear it that often! I love it because it is perfectly creamy and lasts for ages!

Inglot's Lipstick in 293 are available in store and online for €15.

Technic Setting Spray

If you guys follow me on snapchat (ciarakxo just in case you don't!), you will have seen me obsessing over the pigmentation of the eyeshadow palette technic sent me in a press pack a few weeks ago. This setting spray was also in the pack and I've been using it on my last couple nights out. I'm totally impressed by it because my makeup has stayed on all night!

Technic's range is available from their website and it's a budget friendly brand that I love.

Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask

I love a good face mask and am currently obsessed with Garnier's Moisture Bomb mask. I find it great for rehydrating my skin (especially now that it's getting colder), and I don't have to use another mask for about 10 days!

Garnier's Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask is currently on offer in Boots for €1.39.

The Vampire Diaries

I don't know how I feel about the fact that season 8 is the beginning of the end but my love of TVD has been renewed. My Saturdays have gotten that much better because I can sit on the couch, wrapped in a blanket and obsess over the Salvatore brothers once more.

Thigh High Socks

I don't know what it is about autumn and winter but I cannot wait to wear thigh high socks and long jumpers every year. I am obsessing over the selection in Penneys this year because they have cute little bows on the side and I even wore a pair with my Halloween costume this year!

What did you love during October?

August Favourites

Hey guys!

With summer is officially over and school/college is starting back up again. Although I tried to have as many makeup free days in August as possible, when I did wear it, I found myself reaching for products I hadn't really used before.

I also started using my planner a lot more and some of the stickers I have bought are featured in this month's favourites.

Eyeshadow Favourites

These five shades have made up my staple eye look for August.

The top left shade is from a No7 eye trio I got at Christmas and I have really only begun to wear it now. It is the perfect transition colour and the pigmentation is pretty good.

Beside the No7 shade is a gorgeous BarryM Dazzle Dust in 39 (Tan). I have been using a few pigments this month and was surprised with the colour payoff of BarryM's Dazzle Dust. It lasts all day and barely creases! I will definitely be adding it to my travel case from now on.

Dazzle Dust 39 is available from Boots for €6.99

Below the BarryM Dazzle Dust is a gorgeous Fuschia Makeup eyeshadow. I have this eyeshadow, Nu Bronze, as part of the Dramatise palette but it can be bought separately. Fuschia's eyeshadows never disappoint and I love the bronze shade with specs of gold, it is the perfect shade for an autumn smokey eye.

Nu Bronze is available from Fuschia for €5.50

The bottom eyeshadow is from The Makeup Store. I bought their Microshadow in Diva the last time I was in London and it is the perfect maroon shade for blending into a brown smokey eye. There is a hint of shimmer in the shadow and it lasts all day without creasing!

Above and slightly to the left of the Makeup Store eyeshadow is a Makeup Revolution pigment. Unfotunately I haven't seen their pigments in stores recently and think they may have been discontinued. The pigment in the shade Etiquette is a cool tone brown with a hint of shimmer in it. Perfect for an outer corner blending shade.

Blush Favourites

The top blusher is Nars Multiple Orgasm multiuse stick. It can be used as a highlight, blush, lip colour or eyeshadow. I've been using it as highlight for the past few weeks and I love it! It catches the light and compliments my tan beautifully.

Nars Multiple Orgasm is available from Nars for €41.

The middle blusher is one that surprised me. I ordered it from ShopMissA a few months ago without having any expectations. It is Kleancolor's American Chick Baked Blusher in Spring Blossom. I had seen other bloggers' reviews of the blush and decided to try it out for myself, it only cost $1 after all. The pigmentation is fantastic and the blusher adds the perfect pop of colour to a simple, everyday makeup look.

Kleancolor's Baked Blush is available from ShopMissA for $1.

Who doesn't love rose gold? Nars' Orgasm collection have become a firm favourite this month. I've been using their infamous Orgasm blush as a blush and on my eyes this month and I have to say, it is beautiful. I will definitely be repurchasing this blush after I run out.

Nars Orgasm Blush is available from Nars for €30.

Planner Favourites

I ordered some planner stickers off Etsy this month and absolutely love these stickers from TheCoffeeMonsterzCo. The left page is full of exam and study stickers that will help me plan my study schedule. The instagram page is full of super cute pastel stickers that will keep me up to date with my instagram schedule! And finally, the pamper sesh page. How adorable is the face mask sticker!

You can get hand drawn stickers from TheCoffeeMonsterzCo here.

Okay so I'm not that addicted to Frapps that I need a whole page of stickers dedicated to the delicious treats but I couldn't help myself! Sponsored By Coffee have so many kits and cute individual pages and I will definitely be using these for coffee dates with my girls!

You can get your hands on Sponsored By Coffee stickers here

Planning Roses is the last store I loved this month. I've already used a couple of these stickers but I'm that addicted to coffee that I need to keep track of how many cups a day I have. Planning Roses is such a cute shop that sells kits and individual sheets for planners.

You can buy stickers from Planning Roses here.

There you have it! My August favourites.

Planner Sticker Haul

Since getting my planner in October, I have become very organised, partly due to the fact that the Erin Condren planner is so pretty! The only way I thought I could spruce it up a bit was to get some stickers. I came across ThisWeeksPretty on Instagram, and followed them because of their amazing stickers. I finally decided to order from them on Etsy and I received my package at the start of this week.

Heather, the owner of the shop, included a 'Thank You' card in my order which was such a nice thing to do. It adds a lovely personal touch to any order!

Samplers are one of my favourite things to receive from a shop because it gives me a taste of what the other stickers in their shop are like. I love this sampler because of the cute penguins. I mean who doesn't love some small, cute penguins! If you saw Ciara's snapchat the other day, you'll know that she is obsessed with how cute the kissing penguins are!

The kit that I ordered was the full Rustic Romance kit, which I thought would be perfect for the first week of February. In my opinion, the kit has the perfect amount of stickers for the way I plan out my weeks. The quality of the sticker paper is just perfect and there isn't anything I would change about it at all. The matte stickers are easily removable if any mistake is made immediately after putting it down, which is a bonus. The full box patterned stickers definitely have to be one of my favourite prints that I have seen in some time!

This is what my full week spread looks like completed without anything written on the stickers. Definitely one of my favourite sticker spreads that I have ever done.

In my order, I also decided to get another set of date cover ups that I thought would be perfect for the week of Valentines Day.

The customer service with ThisWeeksPretty is definitely one that I have never come across before. I was concerned that my order was stuck in the mail and I immediately messaged them with my concern and I got a message back quite quickly.

The day that I received my order, I messaged to say that I had received it that morning. Heather got back to me and said that I was their first ever Irish customer and because she would like to change this, she gave me a coupon code that is good for 50% off any order going to Ireland until the 26th of February. The code is IRISHGIRLS50.

I know that I will definitely be ordering from Heather again, so if there are any other planner enthusiasts in Ireland who would like to get some stickers for their planner, I would highly recommend ThisWeeksPretty on Etsy. Thank you so much to Heather and Lou from ThisWeeksPretty for my lovely order and I look forward to getting more stickers. Links for the Instagram and Etsy shop will be below.

Any Irish planner girls out there who are obsessed with these cute stickers?
Any other Etsy sticker shops I should look for?
Anybody want a picture of the spread at the end of the week?
