March Favourites

I cannot believe March is almost over, there's only two months left in school until summer!
Seen as the month is almost over, here's a little roundup of my favourite things from this month.

10. Moooh's Blue Crystal Necklace
If you read my post about Moooh! a few weeks ago, you'll know that they sent me this necklace along with the matching earrings. I love this necklace so much! I've been wearing it ever since it arrived and I am so grateful that Moooh! were kind enough to send it to me.

The necklace is available from  www.moooh.net/crystalnecklace for €13.35.

9. Grease
I have been listening to the Grease album all month and have watched the movie a couple of times as well. I am fairly sure I'm loving Grease again because it has been a year since my TY musical and we did Grease! It was so fun and the songs are so catchy.Definitely one of my favourite movies of all time!

8. Barry M - 129 Palest Lavender
Pastels come back every spring and summer. This year, I have decided to wear some pastel colours on my lips! I absolutely love Barry M's lipsticks because they are not drying and they last for hours without fading. Palest Lavender is the perfect shade for spring and summer!

Barry M's lipsticks are available from Boots for €6.49

7. Mr.Selfridge
I literally binge-watched Mr.Selfridge on Netflix this month and am now up-to-date with series 3 of the show. If you don't know what Mr.Selfridge is, it is a period drama about Harry Gordon Selfridge and his department store, Selfridges on Oxford street. I feel in love with the series after the first few episodes and I think we can all admit that Greg Austin is hot.

Mr.Selfridge is on UTV Ireland/ITV every Sunday at 9pm.

6. Carmex
Carmex is my saviour. I have one in my school bag, one in my handbag and one beside my bed. I do not know what I would do without it! Carmex is such a moisturising lip balm and my lips never dry out!  It is fabulous.

Carmex is available from Boots for €3.79.

5. Red
92 DAYS UNTIL THE 1989 TOUR IN DUBLIN! I am so exciting for Taylor to come back to Ireland and for the past few weeks I have been listening to Red. My current favourite songs off the album are 'All Too Well' and 'Treacherous'. I literally love this album and Taylor so much it's unreal.

Red is available from www.hmv.ie/red for €12.99

4. Benefit They're Real

I have been trying different mascaras all month and Benefit's They're Real has to be one of my favourites. The mascara curls, lenghtens, volumises and separates lashes like no other! What I love about the mascara is that it is completely buildable. If you want a daytime, lenghtened lash look, one coat is perfect but if you want a dramatic, night out look, two to three coats will do the job!

They're Real is available from Benefit bars nationwide for €26.

3. Makeup Revolution's Iconic 3 Palette

For those of you that don't know, Makeup Revolution is a pharmacy makeup brand that launched one year ago today! So Happy Birthday Makeup Revolution! I own and adore all of their iconic palettes and this month I have been using iconic 3 the most. A dupe of Naked 3, this palette is packed full of shimmering pinks and warm neutrals. Makeup Revolution is such a high-quality brand at such an affordable price and I cannot wait to buy more!

The iconic 3 palette is available from www.makeuprevolutionstore.com/iconic3 for €5.64.

2. Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift
Wonderstruck is my favourite perfume, I wear it every day. The perfume is full of vibrant fruit scents, subtle floral scents and a hint of vanilla, it is heavenly! The packaging is so nice as well, the charm around the top is so pretty and the box is adorable!
Wonderstruck is available from the Perfume Shop for roughly €27.30 (100ml).

1. Lush Grease Lightning
Grease Lightning has to be my favourite product of the month! It is the most-effective spot treatment I have used and it works wonders! It targets developing spots and treats them, reducing the whole cycle by about one or two days. The tea tree infusion soothes the skin and gives the gel a lovely scent.

Grease Lightning is available from Lush for roughy €8.70.

There you have it, everything I've been loving this month!

Plymouth Haul

As you guys know, I was in Plymouth for ten days at the start of the month! During my stay there I made a few trips to Superdrug and decided to do another haul post!

I love MUA, their lipsticks are gorgeous! I have swatched all of the lip products below.

I bought two of the Whipped Velvet Lips, a nude shade (Spry) and a coral shade (Chichi). Spry and Chichi are both part of their new spring collection and I love them! I find them to be a cross between a lip gloss and a velvet lip lacquer. They do not dry out your lips at all and last a few hours without having to be reapplied!
The Whipped Velvet Lips are available online at www.muastore.co.uk  for £3/€4.15

I also bought two MUA lipsticks. The first one is Shade 2, a shimmery dark pink shade. I usually don't like shimmery lipsticks but this shade was so nice and the shimmer added a nice finish to the colour! This lipstick is creamy and does not dry out my lips at all! The second lipstick I bought was from their matte collection in the colour Totally Nude, a peachy nude. As a matte lipstick, it is slightly drying so I would use lip balm before applying it!
Both of the lipsticks are available from www.muastore.co.uk for £1/€1.38

Carmex is my favourite lip balm ever and I just had to buy some when I saw the Jasmine Green Tea tube. I always have a tube of Carmex in my bag or pocket when I'm out!
Carmex is available in Superdrug for £2.69

With Spring just around the corner, I felt the need to buy pastel nail varnish! The shade I bought is Bold Blue, it is a beautiful sky blue colour. It dries quickly but you do have to apply two or three coats for the colour to stand out!
Bold Blue is available from www.muastore.co.uk/boldblue for £1/€1.38

I also bought a blusher from the Whipped Velvet collection. I bought Spry, a nude shade. The Whipped Velvet blushes are cream blushers and they have a super lightweight texture. I have never used a cream blush before but I cannot wait to try this one out!
The Whipped Velvet Blush is available from www.muastore.co.uk/whippedvelvet for £3/€4.15

I have never bought a Miss Sporty product before but I was looking at the stand and fell in love with the shape of the brush in the Lash Millionaire All in One Mascara. This mascara claims to leave zero clumps and is smear and smudge proof.
Lash Millionaire is available from www.superdrug.com/lashmillionaire for £3.49/€4.82

Going to England and not stocking up on my favourite concealer would be so wrong!
The Collections 200 Lasting Perfection Concealer is the best concealer I have ever used, I love it!
The concealer is available from http://www.superdrug.com/Collectionconcealer for £4.19/€5.80

I was running out of my Stay Matte powder so I decided to buy some more. I bought it in Shade 1 - Transparent. When I was looking at the powder, I saw the Clear Complexion powder. This powder has a Pureskin complex that claims to clarify skin and minimise breakouts. I haven't used it yet and do not know how the Pureskin complex is supposed to work but I will have a review up soon!
The Stay Matte and Clear Complexion powders are available from http://www.superdrug.com/RimmelPowder  for£3.99/€5.50

Another MUA product I picked up was the MUA Pro-Base Fixing Mist. I have previously used the Collection 2000 Fix Me Up spray and wanted to try something new. For only £5/€6.90 this fixing spray is a steal and keeps my makeup in place all day!
The Fixing Mist is available from www.superdrug.com/MUAProBase

The last things I picked up in my haul were two pairs of lashes. Seen as Tanya Burr's lashes are not available in Ireland I had to buy some while I was in the UK! I bought the Pretty Lady lashes, I love the complete collection and cannot wait to order some soon!
Tanya's lashes are available from www.superdrug.com/TBPrettyLady for £5.49/€7.59

I also bought the Eylure Lashes No.121. These lashes are perfect for a night out with outer definition on the outer edge to add volume and definition to any look! I cannot wait to wear these lashes on a night out.
These lashes are available from www.superdrug.com/eyelure for £5.35/€7.40

So there you have it! My Plymouth makeup haul! I had such a good time in Plymouth and love everything I bought during my trip!

Have you tried any of these products before?
What did you think of them?
Let me know in the comments below!

Ciara,

Paddys Day Makeup

It's Paddy's Day tomorrow! The day when everyone thinks they're Irish!

Whether you're Irish or not, Paddy's Day is a great day out and wearing green is essential. Here's my tutorial on how to achieve the perfect Paddy's Day eye makeup.

Products Used:

* Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation €9.99
* Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer €5.49
* Sleek Face Form Contour Kit €12.99
* Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder €5.99
* MUA Mosaic Blusher (English Rose) €3.40
* MAC Mineralize Skinfinish (Lightscapade) €30
* Benefit Hoola €34
* MUA Pro-base Eye Primer €3.38
* Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara €9.99
* Wet N' Wild Brow Kit €3.99
*BH Cosmetics 120 Eyeshadow Palette (3rd Edition) €14.25

I applied my base, contouring, blusher, highlighter and bronzer as normal and set it with the stay matte powder.

For my eyes, I applied the MUA primer first and then used the top layer of the BH Cosmetics Palette.

I used a lime green shade (the white 'x') all over my lid and blended a darker shade (the black 'x') into my crease and my outer lid.

If you have green glitter, take some vaseline and dab a small amount onto your outer lid and taking an eyeshadow brush, add some glitter to your outer lid.

What do you usually do on Paddy's Day?
Let me know in the comments below!

Have a great day whatever you're doing,
Ciara,
xoxo.

Moooh!!

I recently collaborated with Moooh!! for the very first time and I was so excited when I came home from a week away to a package from Moooh!
When I was first contacted by Moooh!!, they gave me the opportunity to choose an item (Up to $15) from their website. I chose the Crochet Crop Top in pink originally but was told it was going out of stock soon (which broke my heart because I have a crochet obsession at the moment) but I was pleasantly surprised to find the crop top in the package when I opened it!

My first impressions of the top are great, the quality feels amazing and I cannot wait to wear the top out (when it gets a little bit warmer)! The Crochet Crop Top is available for €5.72

When I was notified that the Crochet Crop Top was not available, I searched the site and found the beautiful Blue Crystal Necklace. I have a lot of silver necklaces and when I saw the necklace was gold, I just had to have it! I fell in love with the necklace as soon as I opened it and have worn it ever since I opened it! The necklace costs €13.35
