New York Haul Part 1

Wow okay, it's been a long time since I posted anything on here. The last few weeks of college were full of assignments and studying and then exams came and went and my trip to New York was what was getting me through it all!

I went to New York for five days with my best friend Kayleigh and had the most amazing time! We got to see all the sites, see a baseball game and of course, did all the shopping!

Since I bought so much, I'll be breaking my haul into two parts, so this one will be all of the stuff I bought from Bath & Body Works, Ulta Beauty and Apple

Bath & Body Works

Black Cherry Merlot 3-Wick

Okay so I went to Bath & Body Works for the candles, I am obsessed. My mum brought me one home from the States almost two years ago and I wouldn't burn it completely until I had gotten some more!

I usually go for sickly sweet scents, I love them so much. That's why I was surprised that I loved this candle so much. It's not overly sweet (I think it's the Merlot?) and it's a candle you could put into your sitting room that everyone would love.

This candle even got my bag searched at JFK which I thought was gas, who knew candles were what smugglers were using!

Watermelon Lemonade 3-Wick

The second candle I got was Watermelon Lemonade and I love it! I love everything watermelon so I knew I was walking out of there with something watermelon scented.

This candle isn't too sweet or overpowering so I will definitely be using this when I'm studying!

Sparkling Limoncello Hand Lotion

I'm trying to use hand lotion more often and this one just smelt so nice I had to buy it! Lemon is such a fresh scent and I cannot wait to use it!

Watermelon Lemonade Foaming Soap

This soap smells just like the candle so of course, I had to buy it. I don't know when I'm going to use it though because I'm going away in a week and a half and I won't be packing soap with me!

Island Margarita Cleansing Soap

I love citrus-scented things so when I tried this soap, I just had to have it too! There's aloe and vitamin e in this soap which helps to keep hands soft.

Lemon Grapefruit Foaming Soap

This soap smells so nice as well! Lemon is definitely the most fragrant in the soap and I love it. The vitamins a. b and e aim to keep your hands smooth.

Ulta Beauty

Formula 10.0.6 Be Berry Fresh Mud Mask

I saw the Formula 10.0.6 range in Ulta and I just had to try some of it out! This mask is aimed at detoxing pores and I love neroli (one of the main ingredients) so I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean Cleanser

So I don't have acne but I do like the effect salicylic acid has had on my skin in the past. It's aimed at clearing blackheads and whiteheads so I'm looking forward to incorporating it into my skincare routine.

Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation

I honestly don't know why I bought this foundation because I have so many to get through but I can't buy it over here so I decided to try it out! The Healthy Foundation is a new foundation from the brand that has buildable medium to full coverage with a satin finish.

I went for LC1 because I'm pale and usually go for foundations with a cool undertone. The range has sixteen shades so if you can't find one that suits you, you can always mix!

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

I couldn't go to the stand and not pick up a Butter Bronzer! Every single American Youtuber or blogger I follow has raved about this bronzer so I'm glad I finally get to try it out for myself!

I picked it up in the shade Bronzer.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer Fair Beige

So last summer my sister picked up this concealer in fair and while she did let me try it out, it was too pale for me! I swatched a load of the concealers when I was in the store and found fair beige was the best match for me.

This concealer is exclusive to Ulta Beauty and is amazing for covering up dark circles!

Tartelette Toasted Palette

Okay so I know I have an abundance of palettes but all of the Tartelette palettes were on sale and I couldn't resist! I am a warm tone and metallic queen so this palette was right up my alley.

This palette has seven mattes and five shimmer shades and the formula is just so creamy! I cannot wait to use this palette over the next few months (It's definitely coming to Portugal with me)!

L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation 101 Classic Ivory

I don't know if there's a difference between the infallible matte you can get here and the infallible pro-matte I got in New York but the shade range is so much better over there!

I got a very pale shade that I can't buy at home but is perfect for my skin tone and I can darken it if needed over the summer. I really do love the foundation, the coverage and finish is just fantastic.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Fresh Cut

I love Colourpop and the fact that some stores stock it now is fantastic! I saw the little stand at a store in the city and I couldn't resist!

I love Colourpop's matte lipstick and Fresh Cut is described as a true blue pink. I wanted a pale pink to wear for the summer and I think this is so cute!

Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter Flexitarian

I love a good highlight and always dip into my sister's flexitarian so I decided it was time I bought my own! It's described as an intense white champagne with pearlized finish. I think it looks so nice with a barely there look or with fake tan.

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator Peach Glow

I clearly have a thing for glowy looks. I picked this up in Ulta Beauty because it was on sale and it was just so nice when I swatched it!

L'Oréal Makeup Bag

I spent so much in the store that I got this holographic makeup bag as well. It's quite big and I'll definitely be bringing it away with me to Portugal!

Apple

I also bought a new phone while I was in New York! My old phone didn't work properly and I'm so happy that I can finally make calls again!

Colourpop Mini Haul

Hey guys!

So Colourpop had free international shipping during their birthday weekend and I mean how could I resist?

On top of the free international shipping (You had to spend over $35 but I didn't have an issue filling my basket) when you spent over $10 you got their limited edition Birthday Cake eyeshadow for free!

Mile High Eyeshadow Set

(Top to bottom: Truth, So Quiche, Nillionare, LaLa, Cricket, Mittens and Birthday Cake)

I had my eyes on Mile High for a while because I already own a few of their super shock shadows and this set has some of their bestsellers! I love the kit because the shadows range from beige and copper to maroon  and olive.

The shadows are long lasting and the pigment is insane! It took me three tries to get the swatches off properly!

Mile High is available from Colourpop's website and retails for roughly €17.80 which is fab for six eyeshadows!

Birthday Cake is no longer available as it was a limited edition product but it is a warm copper shadow with a gorgeous glitter finish and it is right up my alley when it comes to shadows!

Out and About Lip Bundle

(Top to bottom: Viper, Baracuda, Times Square)

Colourpop's liquid lips are some of my favourite out there and I had been lusting over Viper for ages! When I saw this bundle I couldn't say no because I already have a mini Times Square and it's almost gone because I'm always reaching for a rosy beige lip and it being matte is a bonus!

I do like Viper although it is described as a dusty rose on the site, I expected it to be lighter than it is and would even say it's borderline maroon or a very deep brownish pink colour. I will wear it but I was hoping it would be more of a daily lipstick!

I love Colourpop but have never tried one of their lipsticks with a satin finish before so I'm excited to see how longlasting it is! I'm not expecting it to be kiss-proof but I love the shade! Baracuda is a deep rose shade which I love for darker summer looks and I cannot wait to try it out!

Out and About is available from Colourpop's website for roughly €13.35.

ShopMissA Haul

Hey guys! It's been a long time. School has just been so hectic over the past month so I didn't have any time to blog. I'm back now and will post as often as possible until my exams in June!

About a month ago I did a massive haul on the American website, ShopMissA. Everything is $1 and they sell makeup, jewellery, nail varnish and hair accessories. The shipping was roughly €7 which isn't too bad.

My order took about three weeks to arrive and there was a mistake in my order but the customer service refunded me after I had notified then so I am pretty happy with my order overall!

(L-R: Mellow Khaki, Winter Waltz, High Shine Top Coat, Cherry Sky, Yogurt Raisins)

I ordered five Kleancolor nail varnishes. Three matte, one scented and a top coat. I've used mellow khaki and yogurt raisins, both of them chipped very easily and yogurt raisins didn't turn matte if I applied a clear base coat. Overall, for $1 I am impressed with these nail varnishes.

(L-R:  Pomegranate, Pink Lemonade, Strawberry)

Who doesn't love a good face mask? I ordered sheet masks because I've never tried a sheet mask before, I have always used cream masks. The pomegranate mask is supposed to be hydrating, I cannot wait to see if it helps my dry skin. The pink lemonade mask helps with breakouts and scarring and the strawberry mask is also hydrating.

I ordered six pairs of lashes, two of each of the styles above, all from Kara Eyelashes. The wispies and demiwispies are just like the Ardell lashes and #523 are fuller, more dramatic lashes that I can't wait to wear on a night out!

I ordered two matte liquid lipsticks, one from Santee and one from Kleancolor. I got the Santee lipstick in the shade 2. Unfortunately this is the item they got wrong, it's a hot pink shade which I don't think I'll wear. I had ordered it in the shade 3, a pale purple shade which I would've loved. The Kleancolor liquid lipstick is in the shade 2 - Cupid. It is a pale purple shade. Both of the lipstick are very pigmented, the Kleancolor one more than the Santee one and the Santee one also takes longer to dry.

I love this American Eyecon baked shadow! I got it in the shade bronze because I am a sucker for metallic eyeshadows! The pigmentation is great and it will last all day with a good primer underneath.

I also got a baked Kleancolor blusher in the shade spring blossom. I haven't used it yet but on first impressions, it is definitely not as purple as it looks! After swatching it, I discovered it was in fact very pink.

I haven't had a chance to open the lip scrub yet but lip scrubs are a staple in my makeup bag anyway.

I bought the e.l.f cover stick in pink lemonade because it reminded me of Nars Orgasm. I haven't swatched it yet but it looks similar!

I got eyelash glue and nail glue as well because it was only $1 and I always need some when I don't have any.

I bought these earrings, rings and anklet for the summer because I thought they were all lovely and screamed summer.

I love everything I got from ShopMissA and will probably be ordering from them again!

London Makeup Haul

If you follow me on social media, you'll know that I was in London towards the end of August. While there, I couldn't help picking up some makeup in Superdrug and other stores that we don't have in Ireland!

I picked up products from Makeup Revolution, MUA, KIKO, the Make Up Store and L'Oréal.

Makeup Revolution is one of my favourite budget beauty brands. They are fantastic at releasing great quality dupes for high end products. Their Blushing Hearts collection is a dupe of Too Faced's Sweetheart Blush collection. I have been lusting over Goddess of Love for months and I was so happy that it was in stock. Goddess of Love is a triple baked highlighter that gives off a golden sheen. I have not used it yet but I cannot wait to review it for you guys!

Goddess of Love can be bought in selected Superdrug stores and on the Makeup Revolution website for £4.99.

The Good Life Mono Eyeshadow is a gorgeous highlight shade with a pink sheen. I bought this shade with the intention to use it in maroon smokey eyes for the autumn and winter months.

All of the Mono Eyeshadows can be bought in selected Superdrug stores or on the Makeup Revolution website for £1.

I have heard so many great things about MUA LUXE's Bronze & Sculpt Contour Kit that I just had to try it for myself!

The Bronzer and Highlighter are both lightweight powders that I cannot wait to try out.
At only £5, this contour kit can definitely give other kits a run for their money!

You can buy the Bronze & Sculpt Contour Kit in Superdrug stores and on the MUA website!

KIKO is an Italian makeup brand that have stores across Europe. Their store on Regent Street is the closest to us and it is always packed! There were so many Infinity Eyeshadows that I would have loved but the majority of the shades I wanted were not in stock. In the end I picked up Shade 284 - Silver.

All of the Infinity Eyeshadows were on sale for £1.80, you can also purchase them from the KIKO website.

The Make Up Store is a Swedish makeup brand that has taken European bloggers by storm over the past few months. I came across the store when I was exploring Shoreditch and decided to take a look at the shops in Boxpark.

Diva is one of their Microshadows and I love the maroon shade so much. Obviously my obsession with the colour has spread through my lipstick collection and into my eyeshadow collection.

The second product I picked up in the Make Up Store was their Tinted Eye Primer. I needed a new primer because I am not a fan of MUA's primer. Honestly, I just don't think it works.

The primer usually retails for £13 and the eyeshadow is normally £11.
The Makeup Store had a sale on so I picked up the eyeshadow and the primer for £5 each!

Liquid eyeliner is a staple in my makeup bag and I lost mine on the second day. Funnily enough I found it when I arrived home but I still caved and bought one while I was over there. I am no stranger to L'Oréal's Super Liner range but I have never tried the Ultra Precision one so I had to buy it when I saw it in Boots! The gold packaging was also pretty nice....

The Super Liner eyeliner cost £6.49 in Boots.

Have you tried any of these brands before?
What did you think of them?

Plymouth Haul

As you guys know, I was in Plymouth for ten days at the start of the month! During my stay there I made a few trips to Superdrug and decided to do another haul post!

I love MUA, their lipsticks are gorgeous! I have swatched all of the lip products below.

I bought two of the Whipped Velvet Lips, a nude shade (Spry) and a coral shade (Chichi). Spry and Chichi are both part of their new spring collection and I love them! I find them to be a cross between a lip gloss and a velvet lip lacquer. They do not dry out your lips at all and last a few hours without having to be reapplied!
The Whipped Velvet Lips are available online at www.muastore.co.uk  for £3/€4.15

I also bought two MUA lipsticks. The first one is Shade 2, a shimmery dark pink shade. I usually don't like shimmery lipsticks but this shade was so nice and the shimmer added a nice finish to the colour! This lipstick is creamy and does not dry out my lips at all! The second lipstick I bought was from their matte collection in the colour Totally Nude, a peachy nude. As a matte lipstick, it is slightly drying so I would use lip balm before applying it!
Both of the lipsticks are available from www.muastore.co.uk for £1/€1.38

Carmex is my favourite lip balm ever and I just had to buy some when I saw the Jasmine Green Tea tube. I always have a tube of Carmex in my bag or pocket when I'm out!
Carmex is available in Superdrug for £2.69

With Spring just around the corner, I felt the need to buy pastel nail varnish! The shade I bought is Bold Blue, it is a beautiful sky blue colour. It dries quickly but you do have to apply two or three coats for the colour to stand out!
Bold Blue is available from www.muastore.co.uk/boldblue for £1/€1.38

I also bought a blusher from the Whipped Velvet collection. I bought Spry, a nude shade. The Whipped Velvet blushes are cream blushers and they have a super lightweight texture. I have never used a cream blush before but I cannot wait to try this one out!
The Whipped Velvet Blush is available from www.muastore.co.uk/whippedvelvet for £3/€4.15

I have never bought a Miss Sporty product before but I was looking at the stand and fell in love with the shape of the brush in the Lash Millionaire All in One Mascara. This mascara claims to leave zero clumps and is smear and smudge proof.
Lash Millionaire is available from www.superdrug.com/lashmillionaire for £3.49/€4.82

Going to England and not stocking up on my favourite concealer would be so wrong!
The Collections 200 Lasting Perfection Concealer is the best concealer I have ever used, I love it!
The concealer is available from http://www.superdrug.com/Collectionconcealer for £4.19/€5.80

I was running out of my Stay Matte powder so I decided to buy some more. I bought it in Shade 1 - Transparent. When I was looking at the powder, I saw the Clear Complexion powder. This powder has a Pureskin complex that claims to clarify skin and minimise breakouts. I haven't used it yet and do not know how the Pureskin complex is supposed to work but I will have a review up soon!
The Stay Matte and Clear Complexion powders are available from http://www.superdrug.com/RimmelPowder  for£3.99/€5.50

Another MUA product I picked up was the MUA Pro-Base Fixing Mist. I have previously used the Collection 2000 Fix Me Up spray and wanted to try something new. For only £5/€6.90 this fixing spray is a steal and keeps my makeup in place all day!
The Fixing Mist is available from www.superdrug.com/MUAProBase

The last things I picked up in my haul were two pairs of lashes. Seen as Tanya Burr's lashes are not available in Ireland I had to buy some while I was in the UK! I bought the Pretty Lady lashes, I love the complete collection and cannot wait to order some soon!
Tanya's lashes are available from www.superdrug.com/TBPrettyLady for £5.49/€7.59

I also bought the Eylure Lashes No.121. These lashes are perfect for a night out with outer definition on the outer edge to add volume and definition to any look! I cannot wait to wear these lashes on a night out.
These lashes are available from www.superdrug.com/eyelure for £5.35/€7.40

So there you have it! My Plymouth makeup haul! I had such a good time in Plymouth and love everything I bought during my trip!

Have you tried any of these products before?
What did you think of them?
