Planner Sticker Haul

Since getting my planner in October, I have become very organised, partly due to the fact that the Erin Condren planner is so pretty! The only way I thought I could spruce it up a bit was to get some stickers. I came across ThisWeeksPretty on Instagram, and followed them because of their amazing stickers. I finally decided to order from them on Etsy and I received my package at the start of this week.

Heather, the owner of the shop, included a 'Thank You' card in my order which was such a nice thing to do. It adds a lovely personal touch to any order!

Samplers are one of my favourite things to receive from a shop because it gives me a taste of what the other stickers in their shop are like. I love this sampler because of the cute penguins. I mean who doesn't love some small, cute penguins! If you saw Ciara's snapchat the other day, you'll know that she is obsessed with how cute the kissing penguins are!

The kit that I ordered was the full Rustic Romance kit, which I thought would be perfect for the first week of February. In my opinion, the kit has the perfect amount of stickers for the way I plan out my weeks. The quality of the sticker paper is just perfect and there isn't anything I would change about it at all. The matte stickers are easily removable if any mistake is made immediately after putting it down, which is a bonus. The full box patterned stickers definitely have to be one of my favourite prints that I have seen in some time!

This is what my full week spread looks like completed without anything written on the stickers. Definitely one of my favourite sticker spreads that I have ever done.

In my order, I also decided to get another set of date cover ups that I thought would be perfect for the week of Valentines Day.

The customer service with ThisWeeksPretty is definitely one that I have never come across before. I was concerned that my order was stuck in the mail and I immediately messaged them with my concern and I got a message back quite quickly.

The day that I received my order, I messaged to say that I had received it that morning. Heather got back to me and said that I was their first ever Irish customer and because she would like to change this, she gave me a coupon code that is good for 50% off any order going to Ireland until the 26th of February. The code is IRISHGIRLS50.

I know that I will definitely be ordering from Heather again, so if there are any other planner enthusiasts in Ireland who would like to get some stickers for their planner, I would highly recommend ThisWeeksPretty on Etsy. Thank you so much to Heather and Lou from ThisWeeksPretty for my lovely order and I look forward to getting more stickers. Links for the Instagram and Etsy shop will be below.

Any Irish planner girls out there who are obsessed with these cute stickers?
Any other Etsy sticker shops I should look for?
Anybody want a picture of the spread at the end of the week?

My Favourite TV Shows

Hi guys,

I'm a TV fanatic and I love when people say they need something new to watch because I have so many suggestions! The list is extremely long so I have narrowed it down to some of my favourite TV shows!

Chicago Fire was the show that start the rest of the Chicago TV shows that I have on my list. This show and the other two, base their storyline on the lives of their main characters and I'm so hooked on them!

Chicago PD is the first spin-off show from Chicago Fire. It will become obvious by the end, but cop shows are the majority of my favourite shows because they are so interesting and involve things that happen on a regular basis in today's world.

Chicago Med is the second spin-off  from Chicago Fire. I love to watch these three shows because there well often be a collaboration between the three shows and it makes the shows more action-packed. Chicago Med just recently started so I hope it will be renewed for another season!

Teen Wolf started in 2011 and is on it's fifth season on MTV. For me MTV shows have never been that brilliant because it seems like you have already seen the show somewhere else. This is where Teen Wolf comes in, it is loosely based on the 1985 film 'Teen Wolf', but what makes this show completely different is that the producers do such an excellent job with their research into mythology. Having a different 'monster' to face each season is what keeps me captivated.

What young adult isn't watching this show? Pretty Little Liars is one of those shows that you're hooked to. I like this show because  I was never able to guess who A was. I think the show is so successful because there are always twists and turns right when you think you have everything figured out and your theory makes total sense.

Code Black is probably the only other 'medical' type of show that I watch, but it is completely different to Chicago Med. This show is based on a hospital in LA that goes into Code Black more than any other hospital in the US. Code Black means that there aren't enough facilities to treat the patients that are in the hospital. I am so interested in the show because you never expect what happens during each episode.

I only started to watch Supernatural after I had finished my Leaving Cert and I am in love! The show is currently in it's 11th season and it is one of only two shows that I watch that has lasted this long on TV. It's obvious that  I enjoy supernatural shows, especially because I grew up watching 'Charmed' with my mum and sister. Out of all of the shows I watch, this show is probably my favourite.

And here's where my cop show obsession starts. Blue Bloods is the one I watch when I want to relax on my lunch from work because it is such an easy watch in my opinion. Blue Bloods revolves around a family, who are mostly in law enforcement, which was what attracted me to the show in the first place.

CSI:Cyber is a recent find of mine, I have previously watched the other CSI shows that are on TV if I'm just flicking, but this is the only one that I will keep up-to-date with. I think it's because the show  is the most relevant to us in the modern age as it solely deals with cyber crimes.

Criminal Minds started it all. I started watching this when I was a little bit younger with my mum and ever since I haven't stopped watching it. Although there are serious scenes in it, I never fail to get a good laugh out of this show.

If you're ever bored or looking for a new series to watch, I highly recommend all of the shows I've mentioned below!

Quick Update

Hi guys!

As many of you know, I'm in sixth year this year. That means I have mock exams soon. My mocks start in three weeks and they will go on for two weeks.

My mocks finish on February 10th so until then, I won't be posting as much. As always, school comes first and I need to concentrate on doing my best in these exams.

Hopefully Alison will be posting more often, depending on her college schedule!

Best of luck to anyone sitting mock exams soon!

Ciara,

xoxo.

Dome8 Headphone Case Review

We all have that dreaded moment when you take your earphones out of your pocket or handbag and discover that they've become tangled. This is where this ingenious phone case comes in.

Dome 8 came up with a case that you can keep your headphones in and they come out tangle free! I change between phone cases quite often and over the Christmas period, I was seriously in love with this case.

My only issue with the case was it was quite chunky, it won't fit comfortably in your pocket but if you have a handbag with you, it's fine. For guys, to be honest I think you're pockets are so big that it wouldn't make a difference to you!

Dome8 currently sell these fab cases in a variety of colours for the iPhone 5/5s and the iPhone 6/6s, they retail for £19.95.

Thanks to Christopher over at Dome8 for sending me this product to review and if you're interested in the iPhone Case That Holds Headphones click the link!

Have you ever had a case like this?
What did you think of it?
Let me know in the comments below!

(Sorry for the late post, I've been swamped with work and Ciara is just back to school!)

New Year Resolutions 2016

2015 was a year full of new experiences and memories for me. I made new friends, put more effort into blogging, started and ended relationships and overall I was just happier.

There is nothing else I would rather be than happy. I spent time with family and friends, had more time to myself and I saw some of my favourite people ever (Taylor) in concert.

2016 is quite possibly the biggest year of my life so far. I've got the Leaving Cert in June and hopefully I'll be starting my law degree in September.

So for 2016, I have a few New Year Resolutions that will help me be a happier and healthier person in the year ahead.

I plan to study more in 2016. I've gotten into the habit of not studying on the weekend and it's one I need to break. The mocks are less than a month away and then I only have about five months until June.

Being 'happy' is not as simple as the word implies. I want to be a happier person in 2016 and in order to do that I need to look after myself more. I want to drink more water which will help my skin and my energy levels, I want to exercise at least 4 times a week to relieve stress, eating healthy and losing some weight will help me be happier and finally, the 3/4am Netflix marathons need to stop. Everyone loves a good Netflix binge but I need to go to sleep earlier so I can wake up happier!

The dreaded points system.... obviously my major goal for 2016 is to get the points I need for my course in UCD. I need 500+ points but as long as I put my head down and concentrate on the long term goal, I know I can get the points I need!

Letting people get you down is something everyone is guilty of. It's also something I don't want to do anymore. If you don't like me, that's cool. Chances are you're not my cup of tea either.  I'm not going to let other people get me down anymore.

If being a fan of Taylor Swift has taught me anything, it has taught me this.
"You are not the opinion of somebody who doesn't know you or care about you"

So there you have it.
My New Year Resolutions.
What are your resolutions?
