XS Sports Nutrition Review

Hey guys!

Wow, okay balancing  college, work and a blog is a lot harder this year! My workload is a lot heavier this year and I recently got promoted in work which is fab.

I'm still going to the gym and when I don't have the chance I try to go for a jog! I went to the launch of XS Sports Nutrition a few weeks ago and have been trying out the range since and I'm loving it.

I was lucky enough to be given protein bars, whey protein powder, an electrolyte drink and a fab water bottle. I really put the range to the test over the past month or so, between the gym, tennis and jogging and can't wait to show you guys how I got on.

I usually used the electrolyte drink during tennis training as it can get pretty intense and the drink helped me keep my energy levels up throughout the session. I got to  try the orange lime flavour which I found lovely and citrusy. The sachet was super easy to use, I had my bottle full of water, poured the sachet in and shook the bottle until it was all absorbed!

I would definitely recommend this drink to anyone who takes part in high-intensity workouts or training sessions!

The protein bar and powder can both be used to 'recharge' after a workout so I switched between the two. I tended to eat the protein bars after the gym because I go during lecture breaks and it's easier to have something on the go when I'm rushing to my next lecture! I got to try the chocolate flavour which was so yum! The bars are low in carbs and fat while being high in protein and fibre which makes it the perfect snack.

I didn't feel hungry after the gym and was able to pay attention in my lecture because my stomach wasn't rumbling! Unfortunately though, they're not suitable for diabetics.

I also got the chocolate flavour protein powder which I used after jogging and sometimes after the gym. I tried mixing it with water and milk and I definitely prefer mixing the powder with milk. The guidelines say 3 scoops and 150-260ml of milk or water but I didn't have a scoop so I guessed each time. It tastes really good and helped tide me over after working out until my next meal without going hungry!
The one thing I would love about the range is if the protein powder came with a scoop inside! Otherwise I love everything about the range and don't know how I'll workout without it!

You can shop the range at www.amway.ie by registering as a customer and you'll be on your way!

Have you tried anything from the range before?
What do you love to use when working out?

Viviscal Range for Men and Women

Hey guys!

I decided to take a few weeks out of blogging while I was taking my work holidays and going away with the fam! It was a lovely break but with college coming up and going back to work, I'm totally ready to dive back into blogging as well!

At the start of summer, the lovely Moira over at RDC PR kindly sent me some of the Viviscal Man range to try out (I gave it to my s/o at the time don't worry!) and I've been using the  Healthy Growth Shampoo and Conditioner for Women for a few months now!

If you haven't heard of Viviscal before, it is a hair growth program consisting of shampoo and conditioner, serum, hair fibres and supplements. The overall aim of the products is to give you healthier, thicker looking hair and I can definitely vouch for the thickness aspect!

Viviscal Man Full Force Fortifying Shampoo

The shampoo, enriched with Ana:Tel™, which reduces hair loss, the shampoo helps to promote healthy hair and increased growth.

After a few weeks of use, my s/o found that the shampoo helped his hair feel thicker and liked the scent of the shampoo which is always a bonus. As far as hair loss, we're both still young and don't notice hair loss either way.

The Full Force Fortifying Shampoo has a RRP of €11.95.

Viviscal Man Food Supplement

The food supplement side of the range aims to improve overall hair health and increase hair thickness. After taking the tablets for a month (twice a day) he noticed that his hair was growing faster than it usually does and the thickness definitely improved (In his words it was harder to style haha) and he also saw an improvement in facial hair growth which is always a plus!

The supplements have a RRP of  €49.95

The Viviscal Man range is available from leading pharmacies nationwide and online at www.viviscal.ie

Viviscal Densifying Shampoo

From the Viviscal Woman range, I use the shampoo and conditioner and have for some months
now. Viviscal claim that the shampoo gently cleanses, leaving your hair looking naturally thicker and fuller.

I have naturally thick hair anyway but woah, did this give it a boost! My hair felt much fuller and was definitely harder to tie up which is not a complaint at all, a lot of bobbins were lost in the process though.

The shampoo has a RRP of €11.95.

Viviscal Desifying Conditioner

Just like the shampoo, the conditioner is enriched with Ana Tel™️ which helps hair become thicker and fuller while promoting hair growth.

I condition before I shampoo and I do it once a week. After using this conditioner until the end, I am in love. My hair was so much easier to comb through before drying it and overall after using both of the products, I did notice my hair was looking shinier and thicker which was fabulous when it came it styling it!

Another thing to note about the products is that the sent is fabulous! It has a subtle floral scent which lasts in my hair for about a day after I wash it!

The conditioner has a RRP of €11.95 and the pair of densifying products are available from leading pharmacies nationwide and online at www.viviscal.ie

Have you guys tried Viviscal before?
What did you think of it?

Thank you so much to the lovely team at RDC who kindly sent me the products mentioned in this post!

Nutrilite Appetite Controller

Hey guys!

So recently I've been on a major health buzz. I have wanted to cut out processed sugar from my diet as well as exercise more and lose some weight. Although the main focus wasn't to lose weight, it was to overall become healthier, I've definitely noticed a recent weight loss which is fabulous.

I would put my weight loss down to Nutrilite's Appetite Controller which I have been using for the last three weeks. Nutrilite is a natural appetite controller that comes in single-serve sachets that you pour into water or juice before each meal, three times a day.

Although I didn't like the texture of the sachet mixed with water, I usually washed it down with another glass of water which was fine. Once consumed, the  fibres work towards forming a gel in the stomach, helping you to feel fuller.

Over the course of my trial, I noticed myself eating smaller portion sizes, without feeling any less full after my meals and when I wanted a snack, I wasn't reaching for something sugary like I usually do!

Overall, I really noticed a difference in my eating patterns and having the sachets at each meal became a second nature to me. Nutrilite's Appetite Controller helped me to kick start my health buzz and after the duration of the trial, I had started to lose a few pounds already.

Although my trial is over, I will continue to eat smaller portion sizes and stay away from sugary snacks!

Thanks so much to RDC PR for kindly sending me Nutrilite's Appetite Controller to review!
